Tips
- Apply WOODS
Prespray from one end of a board to the other.
- On vertical surfaces, always work from the bottom up.
- Store unused products in airtight container.
- All four sides and ends should be treated with one coat of WOODS
Prespray
- Do not dilute any of these products.
- Do not apply in direct sunlight, when wood is hot, when wood is wet, when
temperature is below 5° C, or when rain or freezing will occur within 24
hours.
- Do not use WOODS
products over surfaces that have been cleaned with bleaches, TSP, etc. or
coated with other products.
Application
Three Simple Steps
- Step 1 - Prepare
- The wood surface must be dry and free of dirt, oil, grease, wax, rust,
mildew and any other surface contamination. Use the appropriate WOODS
Exterior Conditioner to prepare your wood for finishing.
- Step 2 - Protect
- Apply WOODS
Prespray as an initial coating on new surfaces that are in transit or
under construction.
- For best results apply in temperatures between 15ēC and 20ēC.
- Apply WOODS
Prespray with a brush, roller or low pressure airless sprayer.
- On horizontal surfaces any puddles that have not been absorbed after
5 minutes should be brushed out. Runs should be brushed out before drying.
- Allow surface to dry for 24 to 48 hours.
- Step 3 - Preserve
Caution: This product will be damages if frozen. Store
at temperatures above 5ēC.
